The test team at the Electric Bike Factory got their hands on this magnesium alloy frame and compact folding DYU C2 and took it for a challenging test on the diverse terrain of Kruunuvuorenranta in Helsinki. In this story, we tell you why this electric bike is an excellent choice for city streets, off-road trails, and even steep hills.
The Kruunuvuorenranta test tracks revealed the best aspects of the DYU C2 right from the first meters. The 250 W motor support and the peak power of 500 W guarantee smooth acceleration and easy progress even in congested city conditions. The centrally placed front suspension comfortably smooths out unevenness, and the 16 x 2,5 inch tires keep the bike firmly on the road. Thanks to this lightness and agility, the hustle and bustle of the city turns into an enjoyable riding experience, with the folding frame making it easy to store and transport both at home and on public transport.
The electric bike factory test team took the DYU C2 to the typical Kruunuvuorenranta dirt roads and forest trails. Steep hills were no problem, as the 15-degree gradeability and 48 V motor provided just the right amount of power and assistance. The top speed of 25 km/h and the smart speed and cadence sensor adapt the assistance to the terrain in no time. The test group appreciated the bike's easy handling, lightness (only 23,6 kg) and reliable braking, which made off-road riding enjoyable and safe.

Your e-bike can be serviced either at our Helsinki store or at service shops located elsewhere in Finland. You can easily find your nearest service point at [this link].
When you buy an electric bike from us, you can be confident that everything has been made as easy as possible for you. Our electric bikes are 90% pre-assembled, which means you don't have to worry about complicated assembly steps. For the final assembly, you will receive all the necessary tools and clear, step-by-step instructions to ensure that your electric bike is ready to ride in just around 30 minutes.
However, if you need help at any stage, we’re here to help. You can contact us at any time, and we offer free video tutorials via WhatsApp to help you get started. If you still don’t want to assemble your e-bike yourself, you can also bring it to our store and we’ll assemble it for you – this service is also designed to keep the process easy and hassle-free.
The first maintenance should be done after about a month of riding or after the e-bike has been ridden for 100-300 kilometers. This initial maintenance includes a complete washing of the e-bike, a comprehensive check of the electrical components, brake and gear adjustments, spoke tightening, chain oiling, and a general condition check. This maintenance ensures that your e-bike is in top condition and ready for safe riding.
Annual maintenance includes even more comprehensive procedures: battery testing, drivetrain cleaning, tire inflation and replacement, chain oiling, and checks and updates to all electrical systems. We recommend annual maintenance regardless of how you use your e-bike, to keep it in top technical condition and safe all year round.
We keep maintenance costs competitive. The price of initial maintenance starts at 90 EUR, and comprehensive annual maintenance costs 149 EUR (incl. VAT 25,5%).
If you want us to assemble your e-bike for you, you can bring it to our store, and the assembly service costs 69 EUR.
