When CMACEWHEEL sent its new L26 750W Step Through electric bike to be tested at the Kruunuvuorenranta shared test point, the interest of all members of the Sähköpyöratehdaas team was immediately piqued. This 26-inch electric bike with a lightweight aluminum frame and a powerful 48V 17Ah battery promises excellent performance both in urban environments and on demanding terrain. Adventures on the outdoor trails of Helsinki's beaches and trails took the full 60–100 km with assisted driving to a whole new level.
During the test ride, the L26 impressed with its agility and ease of use. The step-through design makes it easy to get on the bike, which is a big plus for city riding and quick stops. The hydraulic disc brakes worked precisely and ensured safe stops even during sudden braking and hilly sprints on the steepest streets of Kruunuvuorenranta.
The 750W motor combined with the 7-speed transmission allowed for a smooth ride on both flat bike paths and challenging uphill climbs. The handling was stable, and the 60Nm of torque was particularly impressive when we got into challenging terrain, where the bike's agility and power came into their own.
The L26 is the perfect choice for those who want to combine city riding and occasional forest trail rides into one smooth experience. The bike's CST tires are just the right amount of grip to withstand a wide range of terrain conditions, providing good traction and a pleasant ride on both asphalt and dirt roads.

When you buy an electric bike from us, you can be confident that everything has been made as easy as possible for you. Our electric bikes are 90% pre-assembled, which means you don't have to worry about complicated assembly steps. For the final assembly, you will receive all the necessary tools and clear, step-by-step instructions to ensure that your electric bike is ready to ride in just around 30 minutes.
However, if you need help at any stage, we’re here to help. You can contact us at any time, and we offer free video tutorials via WhatsApp to help you get started. If you still don’t want to assemble your e-bike yourself, you can also bring it to our store and we’ll assemble it for you – this service is also designed to keep the process easy and hassle-free.
The first maintenance should be done after about a month of riding or after the e-bike has been ridden for 100-300 kilometers. This initial maintenance includes a complete washing of the e-bike, a comprehensive check of the electrical components, brake and gear adjustments, spoke tightening, chain oiling, and a general condition check. This maintenance ensures that your e-bike is in top condition and ready for safe riding.
Annual maintenance includes even more comprehensive procedures: battery testing, drivetrain cleaning, tire inflation and replacement, chain oiling, and checks and updates to all electrical systems. We recommend annual maintenance regardless of how you use your e-bike, to keep it in top technical condition and safe all year round.
We keep maintenance costs competitive. The price of initial maintenance starts at 90 EUR, and comprehensive annual maintenance costs 149 EUR (incl. VAT 25,5%).
If you want us to assemble your e-bike for you, you can bring it to our store, and the assembly service costs 69 EUR.
