One windy but sunny morning, the joint test drive point of European electric bike factories received a special guest. Straight from Onesport's own factory, a white and blue-gray revelation was transported, the name of which made the test team's eyebrows rise even before the test drive: the Onesport OT05 city electric bike.
The location wasn’t just any asphalt road, but Helsinki’s Kruunuvuorenranta – a place where city and nature meet, combining steep hills, sandy paths, smooth city pavement and salty sea air. Here, the test team would find out if this e-bike was just a stylish shell, or a real powerhouse for everyday use.
⚡ First impression – a quiet force that puts a smile on your face
As soon as we jumped into the saddle, everything else was forgotten. The Onesport OT05 city electric bike started up almost imperceptibly – but after that, nothing was imperceptible anymore . The 250W Ananda motor started pushing us forward so smoothly that the ride felt more like a vehicle – it was like gliding through the city in its own flow.
The LCD screen came to life and told us exactly what we needed: speed, battery, assist level – all at a glance. This bike doesn’t just move. It communicates.
🏙️ The city wasn't a challenge – it was a playground
The test team was thrown into the deep end right away: cobblestones, tram tracks and unexpected traffic lights. But the Onesport OT05 city e-bike mastered it all. The Shimano 7-speed transmission shifted gears silently, and the hydraulic disc brakes stopped precisely – as if the bike had guessed when we wanted to stop.
The 700C*50C tires glided smoothly on asphalt, but when we headed onto the small dirt trails of Laajasalo, the bike didn't lose a drop of control . It's not just a city cruiser – it's an urban adventure bike.
⛰️ Uphill? No problem. Off-road? Just call.
We tried the climb towards the old oil port – and where many e-bikes start to falter, the Onesport OT05 kept on twisting without the slightest resistance. A 30-degree climb? Easy. Thanks to the motor and smart torque sensor , the bike read the force of our legs like a thought and provided just the right amount of support.
Then we drove into the forest. The terrain was uneven, full of roots and small rocks, but the 80 mm front suspension made the ride smooth. We didn't test the comfort. We settled into it.
🔋 One download, many worlds
One of the bike's biggest strengths is its built-in 36V 22.5Ah battery , which has a range of up to 130–140 kilometers . In one day, we rode from the city center to the forest trails of Eastern Helsinki, from there back to the West Port, and finally back to Laajasalo at dusk – and the battery still had power left.
This isn't an electric bike that begs to be plugged in every night. This is a bike that keeps moving when you keep moving.

When you buy an electric bike from us, you can be confident that everything has been made as easy as possible for you. Our electric bikes are 90% pre-assembled, which means you don't have to worry about complicated assembly steps. For the final assembly, you will receive all the necessary tools and clear, step-by-step instructions to ensure that your electric bike is ready to ride in just around 30 minutes.
However, if you need help at any stage, we’re here to help. You can contact us at any time, and we offer free video tutorials via WhatsApp to help you get started. If you still don’t want to assemble your e-bike yourself, you can also bring it to our store and we’ll assemble it for you – this service is also designed to keep the process easy and hassle-free.
The first maintenance should be done after about a month of riding or after the e-bike has been ridden for 100-300 kilometers. This initial maintenance includes a complete washing of the e-bike, a comprehensive check of the electrical components, brake and gear adjustments, spoke tightening, chain oiling, and a general condition check. This maintenance ensures that your e-bike is in top condition and ready for safe riding.
Annual maintenance includes even more comprehensive procedures: battery testing, drivetrain cleaning, tire inflation and replacement, chain oiling, and checks and updates to all electrical systems. We recommend annual maintenance regardless of how you use your e-bike, to keep it in top technical condition and safe all year round.
We keep maintenance costs competitive. The price of initial maintenance starts at 90 EUR, and comprehensive annual maintenance costs 149 EUR (incl. VAT 25,5%).
If you want us to assemble your e-bike for you, you can bring it to our store, and the assembly service costs 69 EUR.
