Manufacturer's warranty – you deal directly with the factory that sold the bike

The seller of an electric bike is the factory that manufactures or supplies the bike. The factory is the independent and sole seller of the electric bike store and is responsible for the product's delivery, warranty, and any possible defects.

Sähköpyörätehdas Suomi Oy is not a seller or guarantor of the electric bike. Sähköpyörätehdas offers you a separate customer service and technical system through which you can contact the factory's salesperson.

How to handle warranty issues

After ordering, you will receive personal usernames that allow you to chat directly with the factory salesperson.If your e-bike has a fault:

Log in to the service with your own usernames.
Start a conversation with the factory that sold you the bike.
Describe the problem as precisely as possible.
Please include photos, videos, order number, and other necessary information requested by the factory.
The factory salesperson will assess the matter and provide instructions for inspection, spare parts, repair, or other warranty processing.

Maintenance and assembly of electric bikes at the electric bike factory

Your e-bike can be serviced either at our Helsinki store or at service shops located elsewhere in Finland. You can easily find your nearest service point at [this link].

Assembling an electric bike

When you buy an electric bike from us, you can be confident that everything has been made as easy as possible for you. Our electric bikes are 90% pre-assembled, which means you don't have to worry about complicated assembly steps. For the final assembly, you will receive all the necessary tools and clear, step-by-step instructions to ensure that your electric bike is ready to ride in just around 30 minutes.

However, if you need help at any stage, we’re here to help. You can contact us at any time, and we offer free video tutorials via WhatsApp to help you get started. If you still don’t want to assemble your e-bike yourself, you can also bring it to our store and we’ll assemble it for you – this service is also designed to keep the process easy and hassle-free.

First aid

The first maintenance should be done after about a month of riding or after the e-bike has been ridden for 100-300 kilometers. This initial maintenance includes a complete washing of the e-bike, a comprehensive check of the electrical components, brake and gear adjustments, spoke tightening, chain oiling, and a general condition check. This maintenance ensures that your e-bike is in top condition and ready for safe riding.

Annual maintenance

Annual maintenance includes even more comprehensive procedures: battery testing, drivetrain cleaning, tire inflation and replacement, chain oiling, and checks and updates to all electrical systems. We recommend annual maintenance regardless of how you use your e-bike, to keep it in top technical condition and safe all year round.

Prices for maintenance and assembly services

We keep maintenance costs competitive. The price of initial maintenance starts at 90 EUR, and comprehensive annual maintenance costs 149 EUR (incl. VAT 25,5%).

If you want us to assemble your e-bike for you, you can bring it to our store, and the assembly service costs 69 EUR.
